These terms apply to bookings for , , made through this website with . Making a booking means you accept them, along with the house rules and the homeowners association rules shown before payment.
Prices are shown in US dollars and include the taxes and fees listed at checkout. A booking is not confirmed until the owner accepts it; if it is declined, anything paid is returned in full.
To cancel, use the cancellation link on this site or telephone the owner. Cancellations are confirmed in writing, with the exact figures, before anything is charged or returned.
The property is a private residence in a managed complex. The house rules and the association rules form part of these terms — they cover occupancy limits, parking, pets, smoking, noise and the pool, and they are not optional. The number of guests may not exceed the number booked.
The property is for holiday use. It may not be used for events, parties, or any commercial purpose, and it may not be sublet or re-advertised.
You are responsible for damage beyond ordinary wear during your stay, including damage caused by anyone you invite. The security deposit is held against this and returned after checkout, less the cost of any damage or missing items. Where the cost exceeds the deposit, the balance remains payable.
If the property becomes unavailable through circumstances outside our control — storm damage, a mandatory evacuation, a failure that makes it unfit to occupy — we will tell you as soon as we can and return everything you have paid, including the deposit. Our liability is limited to that refund; we cannot cover travel or other arrangements you have made, and we would encourage travel insurance for anything you cannot afford to lose.
The property is offered as it is. We do not accept liability for injury, loss or damage to personal belongings during your stay except where the law does not allow that to be excluded. Use of the pool, the beach and the complex facilities is at your own risk.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of South Carolina, and any dispute is for the courts of Horry County, South Carolina.
